Terms of Service, in brief

• Customers are brands that install Ello; End Users are their shoppers. Users must be at least 13; under 18 only with a parent or guardian's consent.
• Try-on results are approximate images and do not represent fit, sizing or color. Ello does not use uploaded photos or results to train AI models, and its inference providers do not under the paid-tier terms Ello uses.
• Published plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Shopify; customers on a signed order form are invoiced directly. Usage credits reset each period and do not roll over.
• Texas law governs; disputes go to informal resolution then binding individual arbitration, with a 30-day opt-out and a small-claims exception.

Privacy Policy, in brief

• Shopper photos are processed in memory only to render the try-on and are never stored by Ello. An on-device pose check may run in the shopper's browser before upload; its output never leaves the device. No biometric identifiers or templates are created or kept.
• Ello sets a first-party session identifier (cookie and browser storage, seven-day lifetime) for rate limiting, abuse prevention and matching a try-on to a later purchase; where Shopify's Customer Privacy API reports no analytics consent, it is not set. Some stores run randomized measurement tests in which a share of shoppers do not see the feature.
• Sub-processors: Google (Gemini via AI Studio and Vertex AI, paid tier), FASHN.ai and fal.ai (swimwear and intimate apparel rendering), Google Cloud, Cloudflare, Supabase, Shopify, Stripe and Resend. Raw event records, including IP addresses, are deleted after 180 days; order and refund records are purged on Shopify's redaction notice after uninstall or earlier on request.
• Ello is a processor and CCPA service provider for shopper data and does not sell or share personal information. GDPR legal bases are contract, legitimate interests and consent; EU Standard Contractual Clauses cover transfers. Rights requests: andrew@ellotryon.com.
